Rick inspired me to give back.

As a CEO, I’ve always understood the responsibility of building a successful company. Rick helped me see that the responsibility doesn’t stop there. He showed me that a business can do more than create jobs and generate profit—it can become a powerful force for good in the lives of its employees and its community.

Through goBeyondProfit, Rick invited business leaders like me to learn from one another and make generosity part of how we lead. What struck me most was that he wasn’t simply asking companies to donate money. He was encouraging us to use everything we have—our people, our influence and our resources—to make a meaningful difference.

Rick inspired me to think differently about what success looks like. Because of him, giving back is no longer something separate from my work. It has become part of the kind of leader I want to be and the kind of company I want to build.
